YI Wei HU OINTMENT FOR TREATMENT OF ONYCHOMYCOSIS

Formula:
Beeswax combined with Chinese medicine Huang Lian (Coptis Chinensis rhizome) and Huang Qin (Scutellaria baicalensis root)

Function:
For the treatment of Onychomycosis

Usage:
1. Put affected nails into hot-warm water and wait until they soften.
2. Slightly remove the affected part with clippers.
3. Apply drop of liquid ointment on affected area. Place beeswax patch on top and cover with adhesive bandage.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 everyday, replacing the beeswax patch every three days.
5. After changing the beeswax patch, remove the soft part of the infected nail.
6. When the entire infected nail is removed, leaving behind the healthy nail, continue to apply the liquid ointment twice more, in order to completely eliminate the ringworm.
7. Normally each infected nail requires 8 to 10 applications.
8. Cover the nail with Yi Wo Hu Medicinal Liquid (liquid ointment) twice a day until the nail is once again healthy.

Points for attention:
1. If the patient also has Athlete's foot and ringworm, you have to heal the conditions simultaneously, in order to avoid re-infection.
2. Avoid getting water on the special adhesive tape because this could cause a reaction (less than 1% of people may experience stinging of the skin).
3. If an adverse reaction occurs, please immediately remove the adhesive tape, and wipe the affected nail and surrounding skin.
4. The sensation from the reaction will then subside.
5. Apply the new ointment again.
6. If you have an allergic reaction to the special adhesive tape, use a gauze to wrap the nail instead.
7. After the infected area is completely healed, change socks, insoles, shoes, and gloves, in order to avoid re-infection.
